Republican Representative Darin Mitchell, was elected to the Arizona House of Representatives in 2012 to represent Arizona's hard-working tax payers and to fight for fiscal responsibility in the state budget.

Representative Mitchell is the Chairman of the Ways and Means Committee, and Vice-Chairman of Agriculture and Water and Lands. Additionally, Representative Mitchell is a member of the Federalism and States' Rights Committee. Mitchell also serves on the Joint Legislative Budget Committee, Joint Legislative Income Tax Credit Review Committee, and the Transfer of Federal Lands Study Committee.

Mitchell, who resides in Goodyear, has been a realtor for 25 years and operates a small business with his wife, Sondra. He is a proud graduate of Arizona State University having received his Bachelor of Science degree.
